Description
A transparent coating for wooden surfaces containing 15–20% water, which can be diluted to a more fluid consistency if necessary. When applied to wood, the moisture evaporates and the formulation hardens quickly, forming a strong waterproof film. The material has high adhesion and penetrates cracks and pores.
After curing, the film does not dissolve in water and does not crack under sunlight or frost. During a fire at 600–650 °C, the formulation melts and the resulting non-combustible substance blocks oxygen penetration and stops combustion. It does not cause allergies.
The formulation reliably protects wooden products from moisture, outperforms varnishes and paints in many respects, and is considerably more cost-effective. Reliable protection is provided by 3–4 coats, and the resulting film requires no sanding or polishing.
